Cüceler Cave, which was opened to tourism in 2012, is 37 km from Alanya district center of Antalya. It is located on the Sapadere Canyon road, within the borders of Demirtaş district.

 

🔶 Traces of Legend: The Mysterious World of the Dwarves

 

There are various rumors about the name of the cave. According to the narrative, a dwarf who lived with his family in Tırılar Village in the 1900s and was subjected to violence by them, left his home and took shelter in a cave. A shepherd who knows that he is in the cave informs the family. His family also comes and takes the dwarf from the cave. After that incident, the name of the cave remained 'Dwarfs Cave'.

 

🔶 Nature's Work of Art: Damlataş Formations and Colorful Beauties

 

The cave, which is considered a natural wonder with its dripstone formations, contains stalactites, stalagmites and columns of various shapes, which are thought to have formed between 10 and 15 thousand years ago. Additionally, travertines can be seen in the parts where water passes.

 

🔶 Path of Discovery: Lush Valley View and Splendor Within

 

The cave is reached by passing through a path of approximately 180 meters through the trees. The entrance of the cave begins with a lush and eye-catching valley view that can be viewed from the observation deck. There is a walking track consisting of wooden piers inside the karst structure cave, which is 170 meters long.

The cave is also known as the 'Rainbow Cave' because its stalactites and stalagmites take on different shades because they are very rich in minerals. Thanks to this riot of colors that viewers cannot take their eyes off, visiting the cave gives its visitors a very different experience.

Cüceler Cave, which maintains a temperature of 20 degrees throughout the year, is said to be good for asthma, just like Damlataş Cave. This magnificent cave fascinates its visitors not only with its legendary story, but also with the magnificent beauties offered by nature and its healing properties.
